Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the information on this website is complete and correct, we cannot guarantee its accuracy nor that it remains fully up to date. We have tried to ensure the pictures and colours on the site closely match the actual product, but some colours may vary due to technical limitations. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to, and the use of this website, including without limitation any warranties implied by law of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and/or the use of reasonable care and skill.

We recommend that all purchases are tested prior to bulk use. All descriptions and specifications given in any written or visual form or verbally are for general guidance only and no guarantee is implied. Information displayed on this website or in other printed matter published by Clay Cellar is not regarded to be authoritative or certified best practice and is given only as useful supplementary advice.


Kiln manufacturers’ conditions apply in full, and no guarantee can be given on elements.


Delivery dates are given in good faith and every effort will be made to adhere to them. Clay Cellar will not be liable for any loss caused by delays. A guide to carriage charges is given in the price list for deliveries to customers’ premises and is subject to increases. Moving into position from the roadside is the responsibility of the customer, though if our driver should volunteer assistance we will not be liable for any consequent loss or damage. Please notify us immediately on 01892 722011 of any shortage or damage, which must be notified within 14 days. If a Clay Cellar error necessitates a return of goods, they will be replaced free of charge or refunded. We cannot refund items that have been custom ordered, items that have been used or are not in resaleable condition. We must be notified within 14 days of receipt of the goods of any intention to return an item. Goods will only be exchanged or replaced at our discretion, and unless faulty no return postage will be refunded.

Parcels will be left in a safe place (eg. in a porch / garage) when instructed by the customer to do so. However, such instructions are given at the customer's own risk and Clay Cellar will accept no liability for any loss or damage as a result of those instructions. It is important to only give such instructions when confident that the items are not at risk of theft or damage. 

If an attempted delivery fails due to an address error made by the customer, a full re-delivery charge will apply. Orders cancelled or returned in these circumstances will be refunded less the original delivery charge.

Whilst every care is taken in the packaging of goods, liquids that are sent by post or carrier are transported at the customer’s own risk.

The purchaser should test prior to bulk use. No liability will be accepted for injury, loss, damage or expense of any kind arising out of or in connection with any materials, products or services supplied. The Buyer shall indemnify the Seller against any claim in respect of the goods by any third party.


Our prices are ex works and are intended as a guide only. Invoicing will be at the price current when delivery is made and delivery and Value Added Tax are extra at the prevailing rate. Prices apply to mainland UK only excluding Scottish Highlands. For delivery charges to other areas, please call for a quotation 01892 722011.


All credit invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date. All invoices remaining unpaid after 60 days will attract an administration fee of 5% per month until cleared.
